My mother worked as a domestic helper to support my education till the 12th standard. Today, through my tailoring business, I am self-reliant and able to support my family.
I had completed a tailoring course but did not have a sewing machine. Thanks to Srushti Foundation for providing me with a sewing machine and helping me start my work.
At the age of 53, it was not possible for me to go out and work. Srushti Foundation provided me and many other women with an opportunity to earn a livelihood from home.
The income I earn from this sewing machine helps me manage my household. It also allows me to fully support my child’s education expenses.
This sewing machine has become a strong financial support for my family. It has enabled me to contribute to my household income from home.
I manage my college studies while doing tailoring work. Through this, I am able to take care of my education and household expenses independently.
Srushti Foundation has provided employment opportunities to 100 women in Sindhudurg district. On behalf of all these women, I sincerely thank the Foundation for this initiative.
Srushti Foundation has provided us with a source of income that we can manage from home. This support has helped us run our household with stability and confidence.
My old sewing machine had been out of order for a year, and my work had completely stopped. Srushti Foundation provided me with a new sewing machine free of cost, helping me restart my livelihood.
